How it works
Micro Needling Therapy System (MTS) is an innovative and gentle procedure for cell renewal that doesn't damage the epidermis, as is often the case with ablative laser treatments or aggressive chemical peels. The MTS Roller™ uses 200 very fine needles made from surgical stainless steel to 'damage' the skin exactly enough to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. The resulting microchannels facilitate the absorption of active ingredients, thereby leading to better results.

What can you expect?
45 minutes prior to treatment, the skin therapist will rub you with EMLA cream. This cream anaesthetises the epidermis, ensuring that the treatment is with minimal discomfort, if not painless. During the first few hours after treatment, and sometimes the day after as well, the skin will show some redness and slight swelling. You will be able to return to your daily business immediately after the treatment. If you wish, the skin therapist may camouflage your skin with Lycogel following treatment; in that case, no one will ever notice you just underwent treatment.
Effectiveness
Regular use of the MTS roller for home use in conjunction with MTS treatments at the practice and the use of products with high-quality active ingredients results in:
- Thicker and tighter skin with a radiant complexion.
- Fewer fine lines, scars and pigmented lesions, i.e. skin rejuvenation.
